Beyond the Rainbow

As much as I loved the life we had and all the times we played,
I was so very tired and knew my time on earth would fade.
I saw a wondrous image then of a place that's trouble-free
Where all of us can meet again to spend eternity.

I saw the most beautiful Rainbow, and on the other side
Were meadows rich and beautiful -- lush and green and wide!
And running through the meadows as far as the eye could see
Were animals of every sort as healthy as could be!
My own tired, failing body was fresh and healed and new
And I wanted to go run with them, but I had something left to do.

I needed to reach out to you, to tell you I'm alright
That this place is truly wonderful, then a bright Glow pierced the night.
'Twas the Glow of many Candles shining bright and strong and bold
And I knew then that it held your love in its brilliant shades of gold.

For although we may not be together in the way we used to be,
We are still connected by a cord no eye can see.
So whenever you need to find me, we're never far apart
If you look beyond the Rainbow and listen with your heart.

11 days since you been gone

My beautiful girl Suzie
For 19 years you sat by my side through happy and sad times, you were always there. it broke my heart to lose you but i'm thankful i held you when you fell asleep. Even now, im sure i see you out of the corner of my eye and i know you will be waiting with Jasper-Porky-Taxi for me john harry remember you will always be in our hearts

She is Just Away

I cannot say, and will not say that she is dead. She is just away!
With a wave of her paw and a cheeky smile. She wandered into an unknown land. And left us dreaming how very fair it needs must be. Since she lingers there. And you O you who the wildest yearn for the old times step and the glad return.
Think of her faring on, as dear in the love of there as the love of here. Think of her still as the same. I say, She is not Dead- she is just away

he sleeps on the sofa where you used to lay your head.he looks around the garden for you and comes to me and looks as if to say where is suzie mummy and i tell him your in heaven out of pain

Her Journey's Just Begun
Don't think of her as gone away-
her journey's just begun
life holds so many facets-
this earth is only one
Just think of her as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years
Think how she must be wishing
that we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away
And think of her as living
in the hearts of those she touched...
for nothing loved is ever lost
and she was loved so much!
